What brought you to start working at Touching You, Inc?
My family has been close friends with Carol and her family most of my life. After I graduated college, I came to ask Carol for a job. She hired me as the receptionist. I was very shy then and I was scared to even answer the phone. I have warmed up to the idea 11 years later.
How long have you been at Touching You?
Since April of 2012
What is your favorite thing about working here?
My favorite this about working here is getting to hear so many wonderful stories from our patients and my colleagues. I also love how much of a family we have become around here!
What do you do in your free time?
I most love spending time with my family. My nieces, Emma and Jenny are my most favorite! I also spend a lot of time with the youth group at my church.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I think I would choose Greece or somewhere else near the Mediterranean Sea. But I’d settle for most anywhere with sun and white sandy beaches!

What brought you to start working at Touching You, Inc?
I was diagnosed with cancer in 2006 and came to Touching You for prosthesis, bras, and a wig. I had such a positive experience. Carol told me, “This is NOT a death sentence.” I had 5 small children at the time and was homeschooling. I needed to hear that!
How long have you been at Touching You?
Since 2015
What is your favorite thing about working here?
Seeing the smile after helping a patient. Helping her “find her new normal.”
What do you do in your free time?
Farm life and spending time with family - husband, kids and grandkids.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?

What brought you to start working at Touching You, Inc?
Carol is a good friend of mine. She offered me a job; all I could think about is the community of survivors and women walking through this time to pour into.
How long have you been at Touching You?
Since November 2022
What is your favorite thing about working here?
We have the opportunity to speak life into our customers. It makes me tear up every time a customer walks out of the fitting room with a new outlook on life!
What do you do in your free time?
Exercise, cook, spend time traveling with my family and friends, and enjoy my church community.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
My first trip will be to Ireland. Next, Spain, Italy, and Greece. Until then I’m always dreaming of sitting on the beach.

Carol! I have known Carol for 30+ years and have become very good friends with her. She has been my fitter for all these years. Now she is also my BOSS! 😊
How long have you been at Touching You?
Since January 26, 2022
What is your favorite thing about working here?
After working here everyone has become family. I enjoy working with the customers, knowing that Touching You helps to make their day.
What do you do in your free time?
REST!! My dog, Sandydog, and I go for walks, I visit with friends, and I seem to spend a lot of time in the grocery store.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
To New Zealand. I have been once, and it was absolutely beautiful. One of my favorite trips!

I was given the opportunity to make a positive impact by sharing great online products backed by personal experience and caring professionals at Touching You with survivors within and outside the Birmingham area.

What is your favorite thing about working here?
I love helping others feel better about themselves. Be kind, always.
What do you do in your free time?
I enjoy time with my family, traveling, and playing golf.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
The trifecta for me would be a trip to Italy, Greece, and Croatia.
